I see werewolves, vampires, ghosts, witches and all sorts of mythical creatures or beings that are typically portrayed as nighttime creatures. And some like werewolves being more closely associated with the moon.

So what about the sun? What mythical creature(s) or being(s) are symbolized, or otherwise associated with the sun?
