What music is used in the play, Speech and Debate?

I saw a neat little production of Karam's "Speech and Debate" and in between scenes, before the show, and during the interpretive dance scene, they playing some incredible music.

Was this music selected by the playwright, if so, what is the name of the song(s)?
Is one of them, Freedom 90, by George Michael?
