...overrated? what movie , when released - grossed millions at hte box office, whipped up hysteria - was marketed by all mainstream media sources and given intense publicity and surrounded itself with serious hype - but for you was simply awful ?
i dont care if you pick a movie i might have seen and like.
thats not the point.
is there a movie that came out in the past or not too long ago that created huge interest and public anticipation uptil and on the day of its release , which you ended up either seeing at the cinema or on DVD - and felt 'wtf ??? is this what the fuss was all about ? this sucked b4lls..." ?
for me - it still is, and always will be - Di Caprio and Winslett's 1998 'blockbuster' TITANIC.

load of bollox to me it was I felt.
all those cheesy scenes between Di Caprio and winslett....unbearable for a real man to sit through them.
The ending was a big relief though, finally that pillock dies and what have you.
still think it was one of the most overrated and overhyped movie ever.
the other one was The Dark Knight, felt that movie wasn't long enough and didn't give us enough character development on the joker and batman.
