Cyber-shot DSC-W230 12 MP? I have a new girlfriend, who is from Japan. I need birthday presents, pronto. One present that she would like a new digital camera to replace an older model . In the Two Hundred Dollar price range [$200.00], two front runners are the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR1 12.1MP and the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W230 12 MP. My friend is not sophisticated about cameras and I am not either. Does one camera have any advantages over the other? Are there others I should consider? I have to order it on Amazon, the faster shipper to Guam, for it to get here on time. Thank you for your sage advice!
