In "The Catcher in the Rye," the prostitute Sunny remarks that Holden looks like the actor who plays Melvyn Douglas's kid brother (the one "that falls off his boat") in a movie that she can't remember the title of. Does anybody know a movie from the pre-1944 period that has Melvyn Douglas on a boat or something and his younger brother falls off of it? This would provide a good idea of just what Holden looks like, since very little description is ever really given.
