I'd like to draw on a chalkboard with chalk and then seal it so the art is permanent. What materials will I need? I see restaurants do it all the time and would like to create one. Thanks in advance!
Easy, there is spray laquer. You could remove it with a chemical remover but it is very permanent and can be wiped with water, etc.
If you use a chalk fixative it can still be removed. You can buy laquer in a spray can for $3 at a craft store, Home Depot, Lowes, etc in matte or shiny finish. Rustoleum Painters Touch Spray Lacquer is one national brand that is easy to find.
