What material should I use to strengthen my packaging tape sculpture?
My students have made a statue using the packaging tape method. Now we want to strengthen it so we can put clothing on it and paint it to look like a stone carved statue. Should we use papier mache, drywall compound, plaster of paris? I'm afraid the papier mache won't stick to the tape and other options will be too heavy. Any suggestions?
In case this question seems familiar, I asked the same thing last week but must not have been logged in bc I could never find the results. Thanks in advance for your help!
