What material can I use to wrap a flower pot for use outdoors? The material

The kind of foil that florists use might work. It comes in many colours. If you can't find a floral supply place, you might try asking a florist shop if they will sell you a piece. Sometimes it comes with a plastic backing on it, but if you can't find that then you could wrap the pot in a plastic bag first.
 
has to be waterproof.? I have a brown flower pot, but want it green so the I can decorate it with red trimmings for Christmas. I need the material to be waterproof as the pot will be used outdoors on the porch. What kind of material should I use and where can I purchase it?
