What Martial arts should i do?

Im really thinking about wanting to take a martial arts class over the summer but i don't know what i wanna do. Im a skinny 16 year old that weighs about 117lbs who doesn't really exercise but im going to find different things i can do around the house to build stamina and condition my body. I wanna do something that has a combination of everything like punching, kicking, elbow, knee, counter attacking, all sorts of crazy stuff. (But i really do find that i really like kicks weather they are basic or something crazy and acrobatic). Im not really into on ground wrestling but it would help if i did learn alittle jujitsu would really help and give me an advantage. Im not really looking to do compotitions and stuff like that. I just wanna do something that would be fun, and maybe help me if i ever have a time where somebody tries to beat the crap out of me or something like that in self defense. And i don't really want to take something that everybody knows what it is and does when they are 5 or 6 like karate, tae kwon do, or mma. I really like the idea that MMA can be very versatile in fighting styles but everybody knows what it is and everybody watches it on tv and stuff like that and i wanna do something unique that you don't see most people doing. I know of 2 places local that i can do martial arts. (I remember this one kid recommended to me kickboxing because he told me it seams that not really anybody at my high school does kickboxing).
