Are there ways to "tame" or train a rottweiler puppy so that he has a better chance to become an easier, more even tempered to live with dog that wouldn't cause unnecessary harm ? His owner didn't charge anything for him and is still trying to find homes for the other 3 puppies who are males, so I don't believe these are full breed, and I'm glad of that because rottweilers have a reputation of being over aggressive, like dobermans. What are your experiences with owning a rottweiler, or a dog mixed with this breed ? Do you think there is much success in training them, or have there been some disappointing results ?
