What makes a great inexpensive gift for the GROOM if your the BRIDE?

A whoopie jar.
Get an inexpensive jar and a bag of jellybeans, decorate the outside and write "Whoopie Jar" on the outside. Then write a note and place it inside with this message:
The Legend of the Whoopie Jar
During the first year of marriage, place one jelly bean in the jar each time you "make whoopie". For every year after that, remove one jelly bean every time you "make whoopie". According to the legend, you will never empty the jar!
You and your groom will have fun filling up the jar during your first year of marriage, and trying to empty it thereafter. It's the gift that keeps on giving.
