I don't know whether they are just lying or what but I'm coming here to find people loosing their virginity at this age and I'm really just mystified and baffled as to how at that age, they are ready for a child, or std/sti? or are ready for the consequences of it? not just the physical, but the emotional, the financial, etc.?

Even 15-18, I'm weirded out by. There's so much more to live beyond your teens I was told, and I agree. It's not like it's a bad thing to be one (a virgin), so what's up?

It's gotten weird really.

It seems like every new generation, kids are more and more informed on things that weren't really talked about a few years back. It can be a good thing sometimes, but considering the teen years is that age where you take a lot of dumb decisions, sometimes knowing too much isn't at your advantage.

They are exposed to sex so much. Whether it be at school, with friends, on television, radio, the internet, or any other sort of media. It's all over the place. It simply becomes the "normal" thing to talk about sex, and have sex at that age.

Speaking of someone who is 30, I think they see sex as not as bad of a thing as I, our my parents or even grandparents. At one time sex, or anything related to it, was considered a sin. Now children are taught to be proud of their bodies-which some confuse as putting themselves out there. They aren't ready, we all know that. But they think so, it's up to parents and school's to teach the responsibilities of having sex. Give them one of those dolls that act like a real baby for 24 hours. They won't be having sex then! =)

Well... Im 13 gonna be 14 in 2 months.. and i dont feel the desire to go and have sex.. I want to stay a vergin and I dont want to lose mine until i know i am ready and am like 20...

so yes.. i agree too..
But i do masterbate...

Well, from experience its alot of peer pressure, tv influence, wanting to grow up to fast..

I was 13 when I lost my virginity. It was terrible and honestly I wish I had waited but it was something I had to learn on my own, and well.. I did.

Hope this helps.
