I live in California and want to get into UC Berkeley or any other UC so what looks good on apps? Oh and I got 3 detentions in middle school, so does that matter? I'm joining lots of clubs like Best Buddies Club (helping ppl with disabilities), FISH club, Ultimate Frisbee club, Marching band, Church Choir, and that's all I can think of right now. I have an average 3.0 gpa. I used to get 3.5 gpa in middle school from 6-7th grade and I just started high school as a freshman. So please don't hesitate to give me details on how I can help higher my chances of getting into a good college. I really need advice on what looks good on college applications, so give me tips of any sort for high school, what clubs i should join that look good, what i should be aware of, and so on. Thank you! I want to get started early.
