I believe that this film might have been the late 1990's or early 2000's that premiered on the Lifetime channel. The main characters in the film are a set of parents and their young daughter (maybe 10 to 12 years old). The mother is expecting a baby and she ends up giving birth in the hospital to a healthy child but suddenly something goes wrong right after she gives birth. Something happens with her blood to the point where she suffers a massive stroke and the entire movie revolves around this family trying to help the mother walk, speak, function normally. I don't like to use this term but I believe she suffered quite a bit of brain damage do to the stroke, giving off a bit of this "mental retardation" feel to her personality. The daughter is highly effected by what happened to her mother and I do remember one scene in the film where the daughter is reading a book to her mother and suddenly her mother turns to her and says, "You can read; I'm very proud of you." Does anyone know the title of this film?
