is not doing his job? The majority shareholder of the company my husband works for, has for the past few years left the company in the hands of an incompetent person, to go off on vacations and play on his four wheelers etc. Spending money like it grows on trees. The company decided to expand to the east coast, and because a new position opend up with a large salary increase my husband decided to take the position and move our family across the contry. This was an outside sales position. When we arrived the incompitant one made things very difficult for sales to happen, like when he was told a sale had occured My husband was told "Oh you can't have that" getting answers to what the pricing was on the product was always a major problem. I don't know anyone that buys something not knowing what the price is. But he was expected to sell anyway. My husband made over 250 new contacts starting with just one. many more things happened to much to tell. To no surprise the business was now in trouble. The incompitant was let go and the majority shareholder was now back in the saddle(sort of) Salarys were cut my husbands position was changed(he now makes just a little more than what he made when he started with the company 10 years ago) and we are losing our house. In the mean time the majority share holder is reacting instead of acting, running across the country to go to get ritch quick seminars (like peramid scheams) and still taking a vacation almost every other week. and every one in the company are trying to find new jobs (NOT easy in todays job market ) We are all scared. This once was a great company to work for. The other two partners don't know what to do. any one with advice would be greatly appreciated.
