wasn't written out to him? I accidentally sent him a check that I wrote to my roommate. I called my landlord and told him to tear it up, and later found out that he attempted to cash it. My bank charged me 30 bucks due to insufficient funds. How was he able to go to a bank and cash it when it wasn't written out to him at all? I didn't endorse it or anything, isn't that highly illegal? Also, does anyone know if this could void a lease?
