What law enforcement department should i consider?

I am originally from Germany but have lived in Florida for a long time,Miami to be exact. I wanna do law enforcement. But hate that here in Fl it does not snow. I have considered Virginia or Ohio. What is a good Sheriffs Office or PD with a take home car and well equipped. Top of my list is Abermale County Sheriff's Dept. In Virginia or Arlington PD Virginia. Can someone help me? God bless
