Other than Arabic?
I want to be a linguist, and as I understand it I may be assigned to learn a new language to translate instead of the one(s) I know. I'm fluent in French, but obviously that's not really in high demand at the moment. Right now I'm studying Korean, and I was considering Chinese afterwards. However, I don't want to start in on Mandarin, take the MOS and then just have to learn Arabic anyway. Are Chinese and Korean valued enough right now?
