...institution in Idaho? Her charges are "first degree burglary" of a financial institution and "grand theft". She has two prior felonies, one for selling crack and the other for identity theft.

I heard that since this is in another state (her prior charges being in Washington and Colorado, respectively), that it'll count as her first offense. If that's true, then she played the system and the system is stupid. Is this how the system works? She lives in Washington and apparently went to Idaho (next door) to commit the new crimes.

I looked at the Idaho state legislature and it said burglary of a financial institution alone will get her 1 to 10 years.

What kind of time is she looking at?
