What kind of speakers should I get for my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

I stupidly turned up my original speakers too loud, and now they crackle whenever they're at a low volume. It's driving me NUTS. So I was wondering what kind of speakers should I get. I want them to be kinda nice with a good base, but nothing too crazy.

If anyone could give me brands/ prices, that be fantastic!

buy within your power rating as u do not have an amp probably so high end expensive speakers will do u no good. stick to good brands like polk, boston acoustics, pioneer, etc. call up crutchfield. very helpful sales people that know their stuff.
