What kind of problems can I expect with a 2005 Toyota Matrix AWD model?

I'm considering purchasing a used 2005 Toyota Matrix All Wheel Drive model with between 60,000 - 100,000km (36,000-63,000 miles). I was curious what major problems there are with this vehicle since this year model will be out of basic warranty and I need to decide if I should purchase extended warranty. Thanks.
