What kind of prices/cost would it be to fix my 98 Pontiac Grand Prix?

My 98 Pontiac Grand Prix has been my first and only car since I was 16. Just recently a few problems have came about and I am wondering if I should fix them and keep driving her or just get another vehicle. Here are the problems that I am having\r\n* A/C - the knob for the A/c has five settings 1 being the lowest outputof air and 5 being the most output of air. my 1-4 knobs are not putting out any cold air but my 5th knob setting blasts cold air. This leads me to believe that its the fan not the freon that needs to be refilled. Curious as to cost and time and labor. I understand that different places may cost different prices but a ballpark price would be acceptable.
* Muffler - Seems as though my vehicle is ready for the Indy 500. I have a dual exhaust and I have pinpointed that it is on the drivers side. When I start my car you hear it and obviously when I accelerate you hear it. Again a ball park here would be sufficient.
* The line for my antifreeze to cool my car so it does not over heat. Not sure of the technical term. I have figured out how to bypass it and get enough antifreeze into my system to keep the car cooled off in these hot summer months. The best way I can describe it is when you get a drink at McD's and you have a crack in your straw once you go below the crack you start sucking in air so this is when my car begins to over heat when that antifreeze level gets below that crack in my straw. Keeping it above the crack ensures my car will be cool. Again, a ball park here would be great.

That should about do it. Any and all help and some ball park prices would be very helpful. Thanks and have a wonderful day.
