I've had weird pain in my sacrum area. Started in Oct 2009 a burning pain and I went to ER had CT nothing showed. Now in Jan 2010 I cannot sleep on my stomach because it feels like something is rubbing inside my back and or cutting and both my hips feel like they are pulling out of sockets. I hurt all through my pelvs now. At times I get pain in either buttocks rt, and lt. Someone said could be a disk and I wonder why it wasn't seen on the CT.

Any ideas?

Discogenic low-back pain can sometimes be shown on MRI with contrast. Its represented by HIZ sign (high-intensity zone).

Well, you did your best to relate but I can tell you whatever is going on with me whether it be disk, or fibromyalgia or something else I am at the mercy of these medical people who have no clue themselves.

I have had herniated disks in both upper and lower spine. The lower back L3/L4 caused an intense burning pain in my right leg. Disks at C4/C5 and C5/C6 caused the same burning pain, but in my right arm. After 3 operations, over 5 years I have 20 screws and 2' of titanium roRAB and connectors attached to my spine, and the pain is still there, worse than ever.
Surgeons truly believe they can fix any problem. Use surgery only as a last option.
Quick question. Has anyone had a neurostimulation therapy device implanted?

Wow, good heavens all that hardware in you.

I have burning pain in my lower back, but more of the ache in rt. buttocks and down my leg. Some people think I have Fibromyalgia because I have burning muscle pain in my hanRAB and in other muscles at times. My joint in my left thurab is painful and when I bend it I have burning pain so bad in the joint. It sometimes feels like something is cutting me from inside my pelvis. My hips both feel like they are pulling out of the sockets when I sleep on my stomach.

I am not spending one more dime on these stupid doctors money is tight and all they do is test and test because they can't figure it out any other way. The CT is a modern test (we didn't even have these test 50 years ago and doctors did better at diagnosing then they do now,) and if that isn't good enough I guess I am done. It showed nothing. My ultrasound showed nothing on my upper abdomen. My blood test were all clear. I am sure there is a problem some where, but can afford no more test.
