This is the situation: I had a girl who was babysitting for me back in February. She asked for a loan of $750 that was to be repaid with her boyfriend's tax returns so they could get an apartment. They broke up, and she still owes me $370. Also, while my husband was deployed at the same time, he said she could use his car to get to and from work. While she was using it, she didn't take care of it and ran it without oil for a month, almost completely destroying the engine. There is also body damage where either she hit another car or another car hit her. Now, 8 months after all this occurred, the body damage still hasn't been paid for, the engine still hasn't been paid for, the $370 she still owes me on the loan hasn't been paid, and she is avoiding me. She isn't at her house when I say I will be by to pick up the money, she doesn't answer my phone calls, and while she will read my myspace messages, she won't respond to them. I have seen that she has gotten several tattoos and piercings recently, so it makes me wonder how she can afford those, but she can't pay me back. I just need to know what kind of lawyer I need to contact in order to get her to pay for the damages done to my husband's car and repay the debt she owes me
