What kind of internet speed do I need to play online PC Games?

I have a cheap DSL from AT&T/SBC for $20 a month. I was going to play new upcoming online PC games like "Age of Conan" and "Warhammer Online".

Do I need to upgrade my internet speed?
How fast do I need?

Anything info will be great!
Oh, my computer is brand new...
3.0 intel duo
4gb, 500gb hard drive, 8800 gts

usually 100mbps is the recommended for an online game. A game such as Warhammer which requires a lot of downloaded information you may need a 10mbps connection for it to be very fast, but it would most likely run well on a 1.5mbps DSL link.
You can check your internet speed from www.ScanMySpeed.com If the speed is ideal, You can definitely go on gaming. If the speed is not enough, Upgrade your connection.
