Just the 2WD king cab automatic models BTW.
I'm not interested in the 4.0 due to it's terrible mileage and 4WD isn't necessary in my area. I once had a 4.0 V6 Ranger as my work truck a few years ago and I was lucky if I saw 13-14 highway and that's driving with an egg shell under my foot so to speak.
I currently own a 4 cylinder Ranger that gets about 22-23 mpg, but I'm looking to upgrade to a king cab that offers more power without breaking the gas bank. The stats over at fueleconomy.gov just don't add up some times which is why I’m asking here. I'm a Ford fan so I'd like to stick with the Ranger. I'd really appreciate any honest advice.
