what kind of game is he trying to play?

so i was talking to my cousin's friend for about 2 months.he then started acting different like he wasnt interested.so i asked him about a week ago if he wanted me in his life yes or no.if he didnt answer i would take it as a no n that will be it for us.he right away answered saying his phone had low battery n will talk tomorrow.but we didnt talk since then.for Christmas Eve the family party was at my cousin's house.he was there before i got ready but left so i thought he wasnt going to be there.once i got ready a few hours later i went outside to the car n i bumped into him we just looked at eachother.he leaned over to kiss me like we were still together.even tho i knew i wanted to i backd up.but then kissed him.the entire night he would come next to me.he would take my seat.look over at me n also when he would sing love songs.he was helping me play poker grabbing my hand when he would pass the card.we were laughing n i just had a great night.obviously we had to keep it low so the fam wont notice.party ended at 2:30am n he txt me at 3am..but i was asleep.so i dont know what do you think of that?any opinions.suggestions?
