So I buy this recent rebuilt s.b. ford motor with crosshatching still in the cylinder walls. It has nice shiny pistons as well. The block is a roller without the roller hardware. The numbers on the lower passenger side say ESSE(i think!?) SBA 10 - then 5M19. The stamped number on the top d.s. of the block says GX14????? but is pretty illegible. SB - 10 , and the ford symbol and xxx is in the valley. The heads say D80E AB. I was told that the compression was raised.
2MAE - MC - 2MW is on the crank. D10E - AA is on the connecting rods.
I spent a few hours looking but only find info on the heads. Which is varying. Can I also just buy a regular gasket kit and use my 88 G.Marquis f.i. as well? Thank you!
