What kind of fish should i get?

I need one that will fit in a small tank. That can live in water i get out of the faucet. Also, it & its supplies need to be available at the local wal-mart.[I prefer it to be cheap!!] Thanks!
 
Go for a Betta fish.

For them to thrive you'll need

Water dechlorination
Heater
5gl+ bowl
Filter
Change 50$ of their water weekly
 
No fish can live out of tap water, you need to buy a water conditioner at a pet store.

AS LONG as you have a 2.5 gallon tank with a filter and heater, the easiest fish to take care of is a Betta. But it MUST be in at least a 2.5 gallon tank.
