What kind of fish should i add to my tank?

I have a Flame Gourami 2". A glofish 2". A Zebra Danio 2.5". I have 5.5" of space left. I want to put more fish in. I can't decide from this list of fish. Powder Blue Gourami-2"
Glofish-2"
Yellow Platty-2"
Otto Catfish-1"
Blue Danio-2.5"
Flame Gourami-2"

Will different breeds of Gouramis work together in a pair or will they fight. Will the same breed of gourami work together.

Also can i exceed the amount of space left in my tank by .5".

Neon's are kinda aggressive so i do not recommend them. Gouramis usually fight they fight more close to breading season. I recommend Guppy's or needle fish........ hope this helps!
