I want to make a wedding centerpiece with Gerbera Daisies and other summery flowers. The fish would only be in the vase for about a day. I heard that I can use Betas, but I wanted to know if I could use anything else. Any ideas??
If I was going to use a Betta- I would definitely only put one in the vase (just to ease some minds). Also, I know I need to allow for room at the top, so the Betta can breathe the surface air. I want to add to my question, though. Has anyone heard of any small portable filters (maybe battery operated). I have to agree that I would not want a dead fish at my wedding! LOL Aside from that, I really do not want any harm coming to the fish. I also thought about using a fishbowl and inserting a slim vase for the flowers, so the water would not mix. What's everybody think?

I heard that if more than one beta are put in a vase together they will attack and kill each other. I'm not a fish expert but i would go with something colorful or calm. Maybe a goldfish, im not really sure. Good luck!
