What kind of engine should i get in my car?

I have a 1996 Chevy Cavalier Z 24. It has a 2.4 liter twin cam engine with 226,000 miles on it. Pretty soon it'll prolly have to be replaced. So how much would it cost to adapt the car to fit a different engine? And what kind should i get?

When the engine goes out, it WILL be cheaper for you to get a new vehicle unless you can find a new engine *same engine* and someone with cheap labor because it will cost to have someone replace an engine. They have so much wiring to deal with, that it will cost you. You are better off to get a different vehicle, unless there is something about that car that you are not willing to give up.
