My mother has been an alcoholic for several years now and she doesn't seem to be getting any better. I have already lost an uncle and three grandparents to alcoholism and I plan on preventing this one. However, I am nineteen years old and my mother seems to think I am still too young to help and she refuses to tell me anything about her current health situation. I know that she recently had a physical but of course won't tell me about it and I know that by law I can't get any info from the doctor himself so I plan on forcing her to go back with me this time but was wondering if I should just take her to another physical or if I could request a different kind of service from the doctors?
What kind of doctors appointment should I take my alcoholic mother to?
