What kind of dirt bike should i get?

Im 5'8 130lbs and can ride good. I'm looking for something that will last me a while. I don't have the money for a new bike but I can spend around 3000$. i eventually want to try racing but until then i will be rippin around on trails and private land. i was thinking a 230, 125 two stroke, a 250 4 stroke or a 250 two stroke if I can get a deal.
