What kind of bicycle can i get with my weight?

I've just recently gotten hired at a job that is about 1.5 miles away from home and I wanted to maybe get a bike to ease off the walking and let me get there quicker. Im 5'9 and weight about 255. Im concerned for the bikes weight limit if there is one.. Like i just want a comfy bike that i can changes speeds on and get to work on a decent time frame
