what kind of acne do i have

I'm getting ready to speak with a doctor about accutane. I've tried everything. I'm just doing my daily research. What would you call my acne. I have surface dry skin and all the zits on my face are hard and red. They surface rarely and then leave serious scars on my fair skin.
 
so strange ...you just described the same exact type as mine....I've been referring to mine as mild cystic acne
 
so I went to the derm and they are going to put me on accutane because of what I have going on. I have to do the ipledge paperwork before I can start. It's going to be pricy but they say it's going to do miracles.
