What keeps America from discussing the question of white/black relations?

Beyond name calling and blame. Beyond fear and loathing. America is a powder keg looking for the spark that will blow up in our collective faces. Whether your part of the Chickens coming home to roost group or the Turner diary crowd. What keeps we Americans from having this discussion
 
I think that blacks in the US are more polarized than whites. I dont see otherwise rational white people supporting white power, like i do with MANY blacks in the US.

I think blacks in the US have a chip on their shoulder, yeah they have been fucked with but so have Jews, Italians, Irish, Asians, Latinos and let us not forget the racial group that was totally screwed, the NAtive peoples.

I don't think it is a racial divide as much as a social-economic divide. It is ashame that black culture in the US does not value education as much as it values other aspects of life. THis is simply the truth.

Things need to change within the black community first.
