what job has to do with working on cars?

i really want to work on cars as a living. im only 14 but i really want to know what im going to do in life (have a goal). That might seem like a simple question for you to answer. you will probably say "mechanic" but i dont want to fix cars! i want to fix them "up" like, make them faster and install high end performance parts! like i would want to work on rally and custom cars for professional racers! (ex: ken block.) how would i get into this kind of career? ps: i know i would have to work my way up if i wanted to work on professional racers cars. i just want to know how i would start doing this
