well I had gone to another mechanic and was told I needed a new transmission, but I decided to get a second opinion. The new mechanic said I needed a new one of those.
my jeep will run fine for like 15 minutes; but once I slow down, the rpm needle drops and won't pick up a gear anymore. The faster I go the rpm will keep rising and making an ugly noise. I have to put the jeep on neutral, turn it off and turn it back on. The gear will catch after this but if I slow down it will do the same thing over again.
