what its a "baby wash "party?

I heard a few times about this,but i m not sure what they mean...what its actually happen in there at that party? they wash a baby? :P


I heard many times people saying "i was invited to a "baby wash " party!!! but i don t know what they mean....
come on...i think its american thing..they host such kind of party...even in a movie they mention about this :( how come nobody knows?????
