I bounce back and forth between my apartment in Cool Springs/Franklin, TN and a house in Brentwood, TN (both south of Nashville). I use a Panasonic Toughbook CF-29 with a Verizon Mobile Broadband PC5750 Card, paying roughly $60 a month for internet. It is my only active source of internet access. I have a GZone phone but I only use it to talk and text.
I am on the internet almost constantly doing everything: YouTube, free online games (Tetris, Galactrix, etc.), downloading podcasts, occasionally streaming a TV show, email, Facebook, Myspace (every now and then), Ebay, comedy articles, and general browsing. Apparently Verizon has a 5Gb cap but I regularly exceed or double that but am never charged for it because when I signed on a few years ago I got an unlimited MB allowance featured in my plan. Will they retract this feature? I know the overusage charges but I've never had them on my bill.
But, my PC card is outmoded. I want to find a faster modem/ISP. Any recommends?
Thanks,
J
