I am prejudice, I own two (both 1990's). One for winter, and one for summer.
We get 28 mountain city driving and 34 highway.
If it were not for times when the state police advise no travel on the roads, or other times when I need a 4wd, it would be the only car I would own.
They have their disadvantages, like trying to drive with a bunch of trucks in heavy rain. But the fun factor of driving far out weights the disadvantages.
