What is your opinion on belly dancing?

my school is having a talent show,and i want to do traditional belly dancing.thing is,a lot of people think it's very sexual,when it really isnt.
(im half indian btw.)

anyways,what's your opinion on belly dancing?should i do it for my school's talent show?
