What is your opinion of lawyers?

Just a little sociological question, I am just curious what the average person's first reaction to lawyers is.
Heh I don't really need lawyers opinions. I mean, thats why I am, or rather what I will be in a year when I graduate law school.
 
I like us, we work hard. I've noticed, like the guy above said, most people complain about attorneys until they get themselves into a mess, then they can't ask us for help fast enough. Of course, they never want to pay for that work.
