Of course, resumes are part of real world in getting employed. And I am certainly aware of that fact, and I certainly know that it must be free of grammatical errors.
Why would a resume gets discarded for mentioning one's age despite the experience and qualification he/she has? Yes, I know that one shouldn't include personal information.
But as long as he/she doesn't mind mentioning his/her age, I don't see anything wrong with that.
