What is your favourite movie marathon?

I must say that I love sitting down to the Kevin Smith 'New Jersey' Trilogy - laughter, drama and lightweight stories. Also love sitting down to the Alien Trilogy too (first one to point out the obvious gets a bullet in the head)... Not done the Matrix films all in one go yet - must do that sometime soon...
 
I cant do them. I tried an LOTR marathon. It gave me the most mental dreams ever. I woke up hearing Frodo pacing up and down stairs and a horse in the bed ...


But so does marathon sessions of PS2 (spesh the FF series).... Ive woken up casting zombie on my alarm clock, leaping out of bed to catch materia and jumping in the air to catch a carded monster.....
 
LOL! No, i think it was something to do with the extras on ROTK, where Viigo is on about getting teased for spending so much time with his horse. also the dogs sleep on the bed, so it was probably everything swimming round in my head!
 
I like the Die Hard films, but Die hard with a vengance is my favourite. :) I liked the Scream trilogy when they were first released, but I've seen them too many times now to enjoy them.
I could watch LOTR over and over again though, they were fantastic. :cool:
 
Ok, so this is only really a mini marathon but I can watch 'Smoke' and 'Blue in the Face' back to back and over and over.

Also, I know these are not films as such, but I can very easily cruise through marathon sessions of watching my Buffy box set DVRAB (especially seasons 3 through 5).
 
Done the 3 Indi films but I was very disappointed with 2 & 3 they are very poor.
I shall not be watching those two again.

A marathon session can only be enjoyed if you watch them on your own & not with company, especially the wife but don
 
best marathon ive done was watching every episode of Band Of Brothers one time when i was ill, all 10 hours of it in one sitting. :)

also have managed to get through 6 series of F.R.I.E.N.D.S over about a week.
 
Yes B2TF trilogy really has to be watched in one go to get the essence of it.

I've also watch 24 series 1, ALL 24 hrs in time with the program.

Eg 2am watched at 2am in real life. :)
 
marothon has to be LOTR extendeded triligy.

also the dollers triligy.

the tv show the wire, if you havnt gone there yet, tis well worth ur time.
