What is your favorite part of fishing?

Kind of an obvious one, okay, but try to narrow it down. What is the thing you like most? Mine is that period between hook-up and getting the fish in the net. Might be a few seconds, might be a few minutes, and on rare occasions it's longer, but no matter how long it lasts, it's such a fleeting thing. I can think about it, try to recall it, but the memory is imperfect. When I'm there I try to savor it, freeze it in my mind. Nothing like it -- just you and a fish.
 
mine is the lil buzz I get when hanging around my cousins or fishin buddies... the jokes and laughing so hard while tryin to fish... sometimes we dont catch anything and had a GREAT time...the smile on my kids face when they catch one... ahh yeah
