Do you have a favorite meal now or from your childhood that sounds like a strange combination? Here is mine 
My mom made "Weiner gravy and rice" cannot find it anywhere, do not have any idea of its origin. You saute 1 chopped onion, add about 2- 3 - 8 oz cans of tomato sauce. Slice 1 package of hot dogs, we prefer Oscar Meyer for this recipe now , about 1/2 t of cumin and thyme, really to taste. there is no recipe with amounts add water as needed maybe 1/4 cup to thin out and simmer for at least 30 mins to have flavors mingle.
Cook white rice 1- 2 cups raw depending on how many people.
Serve the "Weiners and gravy on top of the rice" You either love or hate my son likes this as well but not my daughters favorite
