What is wrong with using bottled spring water for fish/?

I used sodium free spring water for my water change. I tested it first and it reads almost perfect except for it being on the hard water side. I can't use our water even though we have a reverse osmosis system because it reads high acidity. We have well water but our whole area for some reason is acidic. I have tried using the chemicals to get our fresh water tank to 7.0 but even though I thought I was buying the best brands the never seem to work. Since I have been using bottled water our fish don't seem to be dying anymore. Am I doing the right thing? I just tested the water and it is reading just fine. Tanks again
 
I always would buy spring water for my goldfish, that way you dont have to worry about adding chemicals or adding too much.
