I need to identify the slope and y-intercept of the line with the given equation
I must get it into the form and to do that have to solve for y
How do I do the following?
---------------------
9x-3y=-1---Someone very good at math said it was unsolvable --------------but that is not an option
----------------------------------------------
4y+6x=2---Once again it seems like it is unsolvable because 6 --------------and 2 are not divesable by 4 but unsolvable is not an ---------------option

Please give step by step I'm really having trouble with this
Why is it -9 on the first problem?

you have to change them into slope-intercept form. or y=mx+b

-3y = -9x + 1
y = 3x - 1/3
so the slope is m or 3 and the y is -1/3

4y + 6x = 2
4y = -6x + 2
y = -3/2x + 1/2
so the slope is -3/2 and y is 1/2

and yes im sure that's right.

9x-3y=-1
-9x both sides
-3y = -9x + -3
divide by -3
y = 3x + 1
slope = 3 and y-intercept is 1

4y+6x=2

add edit if you need help

minus 6x

4y= -6x + 2

divide by 4
y = -6/4 + 1/2

slope = -6/4
y-intercept = 1/2
